Day Two - Growing In Unity
Day Two of my Growing In Unity week took me to the boring cover of one of my lettering journals ~ it needed a little sprucing up AND some sparkle in order for me to find it the least bit inspiring. Soooo…off to my Unity stash I went!! ❤️
I used the Layers of Life kit for the sentiment and Sunflower wishes for this gorgeous flower!! Using Kuretake glittery watercolors I painted the sunflower petals and then used a few acrylic colors in the center to add texture and just some fun details. Popping the INSPIRE sentiment over a “booboo” was a perfectly happy accident which turned out to work in my favor. (Now go back and see the smudge 😉)
Now my journal is happy enough to pick up AND even carry along with me to use more regularly!!
Thanks for following along ~ remember to comment below for the chance to win something wonderful from Unity Stamp Company!
